The land you live on should never be taxed, or we are effectively slaves of the government. Only land you do not live on should be permitted to be taxed, and obviously this means corporation owned land could be taxed.

Federal blanket sales tax is better but still bullshit, as it is still a compounding tax that hits everything repeatedly. Government should subsist on import/export and excise taxes. Excise taxes are sales taxes on a specific commodity, which generally hits only once because that commodity can only realistically be sold once. Like, a tax on crude oil, copper, or iron, etc. Import and export taxes should be used to segregate the national economy from the international economy, specifically to prevent foreign goods from competing within the national markets. These can be general, or specifically targeted against certain foreign nations or specific foreign products. For instance, China should be cut off from our economy, their artificially low prices are severely dangerous to our economic health, a serious national security issue, and should be treated as such.
